Help Us Help You in Somerset

Somerset Regional Council has the largest local government area in south east Queensland with an area of 5,379 sq km.

Council also has the smallest rate base. This means the Council team cannot be everywhere and see everything all the time so we rely on residents to Help Us Help You.

Somerset Regional Council Mayor Graeme Lehmann said it was about working together.

“We can’t be everywhere all the time, it is not physically possible, so we ask residents to report areas of concern to Council so we can investigate and take action,” Cr Lehmann said.

“Council is here to help and delivering exceptional customer service is something we pride ourselves on.”

Residents are encouraged to phone Council and report areas of concern for further investigation, and action, if required on 5424 4000.
