Council has resolved to not proceed with plans to relocate the Coominya waste transfer station to Lowood following community consultation over the proposal.

Engineers, architects appointed to fast track projects
Council will appoint the same team of architects and consulting engineers to undertake both the plans for the $4 million Fernvale Indoor Sports Centre and the $460,000 Kilcoy library expansion in order to fast track both projects.

The Kilcoy library project will be entirely funded by the Council.

Pedestrian Crossing at Lowood Recreation Complex
Council has released funds to construct a new $20,000 crossing over a gully at the entrance to Lowood Recreation Complex to provide a second pedestrian access to the popular facility.
