Spring cleaning in Somerset
Mayor Graeme Lehmann has urged Somerset residents on the wheelie bin service to take advantage of free waste vouchers delivered to homes recently by contractor Wanless.
"Late last year we saw some huge storms and now is a great time for a spring clean up and free dump visit," he said.
"Please do not allow loose objects at your place to become missiles during sudden extreme weather events."
Cr Lehmann said that the waste vouchers are valid at all of Council's refuse and recycling centres until 30 September next year.
