SOMERSET REGIONAL COUNCIL Notification of Minor Amendments of the Former Esk & Kilcoy Shires respective Planning Schemes Somerset Regional Council at its Ordinary Committee Meeting on 8th February 2012 resolved to adopt amendments to the former Esk & Kilcoy Shires’ respective planning schemes in the following manner: (a) Amendments relate to Zoning maps and reflect development approvals issued by Council. The purpose and general effect of the adopted amendments is to ensure land is appropriately zoned to reflect the development approvals issued by Council and subsequently facilitate its occurrence. SOUTH EAST QLD REGIONAL PLAN (SEQRP) Available on the Department of Infrastructure and Planning website. Lowood Fernvale Flood Study (2009) The aim of the Fernvale and Lowood Flood Study is to provide Somerset Regional Council with flood risk data to inform land use planning, development, and emergency planning. The flood study provides flood level and discharge information and inundation extents for floods on the Brisbane River and Lockyer Creek for a suite of ARI design events including the PMF.
