Expressions of interest are now open for exhibitions at Somerset Regional Art Gallery – The Condensery for 2020 and 2021.

The award-winning Toogoolawah gallery is accepting applications from painters, sculptors, carvers, potters, glassblowers and photographers, to name just a few.

Mayor Graeme Lehmann said individuals and groups could take part, and applicants did not have to live in the Somerset Regional Council area.

“The Condensery continues to attract more and more visitors from across South-East Queensland and northern New South Wales, and of course it’s incredibly popular with caravanners and campers,” Cr Lehmann said.

“July was a record month for visitation, and the gallery has become a tourist attraction in its own right, with bus groups regularly stopping.

“The Condensery is highly accessible, being close to the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and Brisbane Valley Highway, and it’s in a really beautiful location.

“Two exhibition spaces are available, giving artists the flexibility to use the room which best suits the style and volume of their work.”

Somerset Regional Art Gallery – The Condensery is at 29 Factory Road, part of the Toogoolawah Visitor Information Centre.
