THE work of senior students from three local high schools is now on display at Somerset Regional Art Gallery – The Condensery.

Budding Talents features more than 90 pieces including paintings, photos, sculptures and sketches.

Somerset Mayor Graeme Lehmann said the annual exhibition showcased final assessment work by students from Toogoolawah, Kilcoy and Lowood state high schools.

“This is a great opportunity for residents and visitors alike to celebrate and support the achievements of our high school students at Somerset’s home of the arts,” Cr Lehmann said.

“Somerset has an incredibly vibrant and talented arts community, extending into our high schools.

“The previous exhibitions at The Condensery, Colourful Chaos II by Sandi Harrold and The Story of Us by Kerry Hetherington, attracted record numbers and I’m sure this will continue into October.”

Somerset Regional Art Gallery – The Condensery is at 29 Factory Road, part of the Toogoolawah Visitor Information Centre.
