“The upgraded facility will service Lowood and the surrounding community for years and we are proud to be delivering a sustainable facility for our community.”

Cr Lehmann said Council will be start stage two of the upgrades in the 2023 offseason.

“These upgrades will include carpark upgrades, installation of solar panels, lighting upgrades, amenity upgrades and landscape works,” he said.

Council anticipates that the pool will reopen to the public on Saturday, 26 November.
