Expression of Interest - Social Plan Advisory Committee
Somerset Social Plan Advisory Committee – Advert for community members
Somerset Regional Council is seeking two community members with relevant experience for its newly formed Somerset Social Plan Advisory Committee.
The selected community members will form part of the committee in partnership with representatives from two service providers who are members of one of the Council Interagency groups and one representative from a government department or agency.
Submissions for membership will be assessed alongside the following selection criteria:
- Live, work or study in Somerset
- Demonstrate an interest in the wellbeing of the Somerset Community through their involvement in local community groups, organisations and activities
- Contribute specialist skills, knowledge and experience in one or both areas listed above
- Offer insight into the social, cultural, environmental and economic factors impacting the wider Somerset community and how these may influence the development of the social plan .
Members will be appointed for a maximum of two years on a voluntary basis and will be required to attend up to four meetings per year.
To nominate for a position on the Somerset Social Pan Advisory Committee, please submit an expression of interest via a cover letter or email noting what qualities you would bring to the Advisory Council, along with a copy of your CV.
