Public Notice: Easter Closures

Somerset Regional Council facilities will be closed during the Easter long weekend, Friday to Monday, 3-6 April 2026.

Please see below changes to operating hours.

Council Offices

The Esk Administrations Centre, and Kilcoy and Lowood Customer Service Centres will be closed, including the Queensland Government Agency Program (QGAP) at Lowood.

Waste Facilities

Each of Council's waste facilities will be closed on the public holidays on Good Friday and Easter Monday, and operating per normal hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Wheelie bin services will continue as normal on Friday and Monday.

Libraries

All Somerset Regional Council Libraries will be closed during the Easter long weekend.

Gyms and Pools

• Fernvale PCYC will retain 24-hour gym access throughout the Easter weekend.
• Kilcoy Aquatic Centre is open 10am to 5pm Friday to Monday.
• Lowood Swimming Pool is open 10am to 5pm Friday to Monday.
• Toogoolawah Swimming Pool is open 10am to 5pm Friday, Sunday and Monday, and 9am to 5pm on Saturday.
• Toogoolawah Community Gym will be open 8am to 11am on Saturday, and retain 24-hour gym access Friday to Monday.

Visitor Information Centres

• The Esk Visitor Information Centre is closed Friday, Sunday and Monday, and open 9am to 2pm on Saturday.
• The Fernvale Visitor Information Centre will be closed Friday and Sunday, and open 9am to 2pm Saturday and Monday.
• The Kilcoy Visitor Information Centre will be closed Friday and Sunday, and open 9am to 2pm Saturday and Monday.
• The Condensery - Somerset Regional Art Gallery will be open 10am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
