Council manages the Esk Showgrounds and Racecourse in consultation with the Esk Recreation Grounds Advisory Committee, which consists of representatives from four organisations based at the facility; Esk Golf Club, Esk Jockey Club, Esk Campdraft Association and Esk Show Society.

Fernvale Visitor Information Centre

1483 Brisbane Valley Highway, Fernvale

Conveniently located in the Fernvale town centre along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, the Kilcoy Visitor Information Centre provides a warm welcome to those travelling to the Somerset region.

The Fernvale Futures Complex, which houses the accredited visitor information centre, was opened in September of 2006 and was built on the site of the old Fernvale Railway Station, in a style reminiscent of the old station house.
