Election Signage is a significant and important part of a candidate’s way of advertising who they are and putting a face to a name. Being able to erect election signage for an election is fundamental to a candidate’s freedom of speech. A candidate might be running for election at Local, State or Federal level.
Council’s Local Law 1 Administration(PDF, 1MB) and Subordinate Local Law 1.4 Installation of Advertising Devices(PDF, 2MB) controls the makeup of any Election sign and the placement of Election signage throughout the Somerset Region.
