Easily lodge a Customer Service Request with Somerset Regional Council

Did you know you can quickly and conveniently make a Customer Service Request (CSR) to Somerset Regional Council.

Whether it's a pothole in your street, damaged road or footpath, or a wandering dog, your CSRs help us maintain and improve our community. Last year alone, Council received more than 10,000 CSRs from residents across the region.

Lodge a CSR

Quick, Easy and Trackable

To lodge a CSR:

Contact Us

Each CSR is entered into our system and assigned a reference number, allowing the CSR to be tracked from start to finish.

Prioritised and Confidential

We prioritise CSRs based on urgency. For example:

  • Emergent issues like fallen trees blocking roads are prioritised.
  • Other matters may require inspection and are scheduled accordingly.

All CSRs are handled confidentially. In some cases, we may need to share information with other agencies for investigation or legal purposes. Anonymous CSRs are also accepted. However, providing your contact details helps Council resolve the issue more efficiently if more information is required to complete the CSR.

Need an Update?

Due to the high volume of CSRs, Council is unable to provide routine updates on every CSR. However, if you have your reference number, you may contact Council to check the status of your CSR.
