Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF)

Welcome to the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) program

The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a partnership between the Queensland Government, through Arts Queensland, and eligible local councils across the state. It supports the role and value of arts, culture, and heritage as vital contributors to inclusive, diverse communities and thriving regions. RADF invests in locally determined arts and cultural priorities throughout Queensland. As a flexible funding program, it allows councils to design RADF initiatives that respond to the unique needs of their communities.

Grants

What kinds of projects are eligible for a RADF grant?

The program supports locally determined professional arts, cultural and heritage development opportunities by providing one-off, short term, project based financial assistance to groups and individuals. Activities must align with one of the set funding categories and meet eligibility requirements.

For full eligibility details and information about what RADF does NOT support, please read the Information for Applicants document.

Assistance is available in the planning of your RADF project and the drafting of your application. Contact the RADF Liaison Officer on 5424 4000 or email mail@somerset.qld.gov.au.
