Have you ever imagined a world where cats can be giants, buildings float in the sky, or your memories turn into magical places?

In this special school holiday workshop, we’ll explore the playful and surprising exhibition Tiny worlds, tall tales by artist Anna Gonzalez. Together, we’ll discover how she turns memories, funny ideas, and cultural symbols into tiny, imaginative worlds full of stories.

Then… you’ll build one of your own!

During this playful, hands-on workshop, young artists will explore the exhibition, sketch imaginative ideas inspired by memories and tall tales, and design their own miniature world. Using collage and mixed media techniques, participants will build a 3D diorama and experiment with photography to capture their tiny creation in surprising ways.
The session concludes with a relaxed showcase where participants share the stories behind their magical worlds.

Ages 8 – 14 (all children to be accompanied by parent or guardian)
