Celebrating Queensland Small Business Month
Queensland Small Business Month (QSBM) celebrates our small businesses and the vital contribution they make to Queensland's economy and to our communities across the state. With more than 495,000 small businesses in Queensland, they account for 97% of the business sector.
Somerset Regional Council, as a member of the Small Business Friendly Councils is hosting the annual business breakfast event to be held on Friday, 8 May 2026 , from 7am at the Somerset Civic Centre with an open invitation to the business community of the region.

Business owners are encouraged to meet industry and government department representatives, network with like-minded people and discover business support initiatives.
