Service program

Provides individual support to young people aged 12 to 21 within the Somerset and Lockyer Valley regions by providing information, advice, referral, case management, linking to education & employment, assisting to access specialist services, mentoring and support. Focuses on four key areas, to help young people: connect to positive family support, get a job or engage in education or training’, lead a healthy and violence-free life and have a safe and stable place to live. Regional Youth Support Workers can transport young people to external appointments, conduct home visits or provide support from our Youth Hub in Lowood.

Placed based from the ICYS Lowood Youth Hub, outreach to homes/public places/schools, phone.

Eligibility criteria (including age)

12-21 year olds (can support 8-11 year olds where they have an older sibling aged 12-21 years engaged with the service)
